The NAMote72 SX1272LM1CEP Is missing the Ext RF Antenna connector on the PCB. Why?

In the diagram on the wiki page, it shows a populated Ext RF Antenna connector. However, on my unit, it is not populated. Why?

Hi David, The NAMote72 requires a HW modification to use either the internal (inverted F PCB antenna) or external SMA connector. Since the NAMote72 was designed primarily to be a LoRaWAN end node (Mote) the plastic rain proof enclosure was included. Due to this functionality of the enclosure and the LoRaWAN field test application requirements only the internal antenna is configured during assembly. See attached .pdf file (link below) on how to switch over the NAMote72 to the SMA antenna (bypass the internal antenna) for testing with a std. polarity SMA antenna. A good antenna for testing on the NAMote72 is the ANT-916-CW-HWR-SMA (915MHz) or ANT-916-CW-HWR-SMA (868MHz) from Linx Tech. TY Loren
