Compiler print button scaling too small

Has anyone had problems with printing code using the print button and the code formats differently than the index numbers on the left? I am using Windows 7 and the code scales down to a tiny font (to fit widest/longest line on the page?) which is barely readable with two good eyes. The index numbers don't scale at the same magnitude as the code which results in the two not matching up horizontally on the printed page (index & code line). The more lines of code, the worse it gets. I have found no formatting or scaling adjustments within the on-line compiler that would allow such adjustments. Also if I ask the printer to say, print page 3 of 4, I get 2 pages of white space before the printed page. I have tried HP and Epson printers and it seems to be the way the compiler formats the page before sending to the print spooler.

This seems to have always been a nuisance but I have lived with it and in the process wasted reams of paper because the print is tiny and the line numbers are of no use. I suppose if I make my each line shorter it helps somewhat with font size but the index numbers still don't match. Does anyone have a work-around for this printing formatting?

I am using it in a Microsoft Surface Pro running Windows 10. My eyesight is weak and the print in the program is very small. Is it anyway to increase the size of larger? HP Printer Support suggest me to zoom the screen but I need other solution.
