Exporting to System Workbench for STM32

I can see the greyed option for export => "System Workbench STM32"

Are there any plan/schedule until when this option is available?

This would be great because I prefer the powerful Eclipse-Environment for editing and browsing through my code. (Your online Editor is not really useful for editing large projects)

Heads UP! The below Instructions [Mentioned above^] are not necessarily up to date and don't work as of 2/28/2018.

Maybe for the old MBED OS2? or at least will take many many hours of experimentation.

INSTRUCTIONS BELOW...sorry

Hi, I would like to have this opportunity as well :) Sometimes I want to add some features not supported by mbed (ie clock configuration) and I am more familiar with Workbench. I would appreciate.

I would need this also... In fact, I can try to export my program (the option is not grayed out), but if there's mbed-dev or mbed-src included in the project, export always fails.

There's instructions on how to import mBed projects into SW4STM32 on the OpenSTM32 website http://www.openstm32.org/Importing+an+mbed+program?structure=Documentation

I haven't done this myself, though, as I don't see the benefits of using mBed libraries worthwhile.

That documentation is outdated and the solution does not work.
