Cant connect to the mbed serial

Hey everyone,

i dont know how to connect my FRDM-K64F to TeraTerm with a Serial connection.

First the pc didnt got the USB-Connection, then i made this tutorial "https://developer.mbed.org/handbook/Windows-serial-configuration".

After this, the pc got the USB-Device so i tried to install the driver, which i picked from https://developer.mbed.org/handbook/USBSerial . But windows xp just didnt accepted this driver and found an own one in " C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\medSerial.sys" .

So now the confusing part: TeraTerm gives me the Oppertunity between COM1 and COM3 , but in the Device Manager are listed COM1 and "mbed Serial Port COM8"??

Any advice? Ty all
