Magnetic card reader connection to embed LPC1768
I'm working on a project in which I connect a magnetic card reader (magtek) to mbed to grand access by swiping a card. The problem is that the light of the card reader is red and not green as expected. Since the Magtek Card Reader supports USB keyboard emulation interfaces, I can use mbed to act as USBHost and a USBHostKeyboard interface can be used to connect the mbed with the card reader. The green and white wires of the USB cable are connected to pin 31 (D+) and pin 32 (D) respectively. Then, I connected the red wire to VU and the black wire to ground; added two 15k resistors tied to ground on D+ and D. Any help is greatly appreciated it.

Maybe you can ask the magnetic card reader provider for some technology helps.
