ThreadGroup - Will you release the IoT protocol Stack???

Hi MBED,

When will we be able to use the ThreadGroup IoT protocol stack. More specifically:

  • CoAP (inclusive Core Observe)
  • RPL or AODV (routing)
  • 6LowPAN
  • 802.15.4 MAC drivers

Basically, I cannot see *any* code (componenets or libraries) in the compiler (editor) that allows me to get a project started developing an IoT embedded device. If this is my requirement, my only option is to use OS's like RIOT-OS or Contiki-OS. But I see a lot of videos of Freescale, Atmel and other devices that runs the ThreadGroup protocol stack.

Please, could you give us some info on the status of the above. Should we expect to see the ThreadGroup protocol stack here or not?

my company is part of Thread Group- how do I get access to the stack?

HI Anders - you will see the Tread stack on mbed.org but not until later this year. Is your company a member of the Thread group?

mbed, Well it is almost the end of the year... how is the Thread stack migration to mbed.org going.
