How do I know that Java ME 8.1 was installed?
I'm trying to install Java ME following the official guide: https://docs.oracle.com/javame/8.1/get-started-freescale-k64/install.htm (in particular "Downloading and Installing Java ME Embedded 8.1 Manually"). I believe that I have followed all the manual steps but now I don't know if it worked or not. Is there a simple method to verify that java was installed?
I have also tried the automatic approach using the Device Manager but when trying to connect to the correct COM-port with baud rate 9600 (same used for the terminal) the status stays at "connecting" indefinitely.
Note: - I have a working environment, I can install c++ applications, connect with a terminal, etc. - I have only connected the board with a USB cable (no RJ-45 nearby) but I don't see how anything else is needed given the steps I followed.
Any advice is appreciated!
When connecting the terminal I could see error messages... "[ERROR] [NETWORK] iso=-1:Network DHCP init failed, check configuration" so I guess I need the ethernet cable after all
