Can I use a USB Power coming from a device different from a PC?

I'm using stm32L15x nucleo board with LoraWan example runnning on it. If I power the board with an USB coming from a PC the fw work correctly, if I power the board with an usb from an external device different from a PC (for example an AC to USB power converter) it doesn't work. The LD1 led blink off-red but the application fw doesn't start. Why?

Best Regards

This comes from the Nucelo boards. To connect the Nucelo boards from a USB power pack for example, you need to add a jumper on the JP1 connector (just on the side on the USB connector). This will fix your issue.
