mbed(LPC1768) is no longer recognized as a USB to pc(Mac).

I had use the mbed without any problems until now. After placing a program using a local file system , it is no longer recognized as a USB. I was wrote to output the data to the program serially. I have be able to get the serial data .

I guess you keep a file open on the local storage from mbed program.
While a file is opened from mbed program, the volume is un-mounted at PC side.

Please try:

  1. Keep the reset button pressed then the mbed storage will mounted on your PC/Mac.
  2. While the button pressed, delete the program from the storage or copy new program.
