MBED.htm does not work. Gives me error 404: page not found
Hi, I'm trying to use the development board for LPC1768. Following the guide, I'm trying to use my license via MBED.htm which was modified 1st Jan 2008. However, the website always returns page not found and it has been a month. Any help to improve the situation is greatly appreciated.

As Tim has correctly pointed out the site developer.mbed.org used to run at mbed.org, which is reflected in the URL that opens from the mbed.htm.
When we moved the site we tried to set up a list of redirects for existing important URLs including the "start" URL, anything else was sent on to www.mbed.com. The redirect that was set up for the "start" URL used a regular expression that matched /start/ which was used on the boards that we tested with and so the URL on your board without the slash before the question mark didn't match the regular expression and you were sent to www.mbed.com rather than developer.mbed.org. A few people have reported this issue and I had advised them to signup up on the signup page and add the relevant platform by visiting the platforms page. I asked a few people to send me their mbed.htm files so that I could investigate the issue, so Tim reposting the URL was very useful in finding the problem.
It is now fixed but it looks like you've managed to add an LPC1768 to your account already.
Thanks

The http link in the file on your board is the issue. It points to the new beta site. I had the same problem with the same board. to work around it I opened the MBED.HTM file with notepad. The 4th line contains the http address plus the serial number and configuration of your board. Copy from http to the end ". Paste this into an open brouser tab. Before executing this add developer. in front of mbed.com. Execute this and it should work for you.
