Using an SD card breakout board with a SD card in it as a USB device

I have hooked up a sparkfun SD card breakout board to my nR51F dongle and have inserted an 8 GB micro SD card in it. I want the PC to report that a USB mass storage device of size 8 GB is available when I insert this device into my PC's USB slot. How do I get this to work? Currently it only shows up as the MBED device.
