Stm Nucleo and X-Nucleo-IHM01A1

Hi to all i have this problem i have a stm32L152RE, X-nucleo-IHM01A1 and a DC Motor 6/9V, i want to pilot this motor but it's my first time that i use te DC motor and this shield. can you help me ?

Hello, I don't have the X-Nucleo-IHM01A1 board but looking at the scematic and the datasheet of L6474 seems that this board supports only bipolar stepper motor and NOT the DC one that you try to connect. it simply won't work...

Ciao, sembra, guardando solo la documentazione perché non ne sono in possesso, che la tua scheda di espansione funzioni solo con motori passo a passo e non con un motore semplice di CC...

You will need some driver to control a motor without damaging the output pins on a nucleo/mbed. Take a look at the component page for motors https://developer.mbed.org/components/cat/motor/ for examples.
