mbed not powering up
I'm testing out the battery backup supply for RTC.
I accidentally supplied a 6V battery supply into Vb pin for around 5 seconds before disconnecting it. The mbed is working fine, there were no burning smell and the mbed was not super hot.
Nothing happened when i repeatedly connect and disconnect the USB cable from and into the mbed.
The only pin connected to mbed was Vb from a 3V battery supply, Gnd and a digital input pin from 3.3V Vout to p20.
After putting it aside for around 10 minutes, i tried to power up the mbed both from USB cable and 5V regulated voltage source to Vin and the LED in the middle did not light up.
The cable wire is not faulty as i have tested it out with another mbed.
What is wrong with the microcontroller???
