Lipo charger and stepup single ic
Hello,
looking around for a simple way to power mbed with lipo battery and charge it onboard while operating, i came accross "Power Banks" for cell phones https://www.google.com/#q=power+bank+2600mah. They use ETA9635 single IC, some cheaper ones (cause wasn't cheap enought) uses FM6316FE which is similar to ETA but without any protection (over discharge, voltage inversion).

I'm not expert in lipo stuff, these solutions seems the most easy but also the less reliable, question is: is there any alternative (in price and simplicity) from some trusted manufacturer?
