Please update/correct video link
Your link to the .MOV video doesn't work (for me, at least!).
/media/uploads/bikeNomad/img_0481.mov -> http://developer.mbed.org/media/uploads/bikeNomad/img_0481.mov
... which gives me 404 error.
Would love to see this in action. I'm new to mbed and STM boards, but have several different LED strings direct from China I would like to work with... and there's 4 different controller types in the mix: WS2801, WS2811, SM16716, and UCS1903.
Would love to help expand your code to accommodate additional controllers.

Do your STM boards have DMA?
