Mbeb partition is only 24 kbytes

Hi , bonjour,

I soon use a Nucleo L152 which works fine. I buy a new board: Nucleo F411: it is impossible to program it. Impossible to downloag program -> disk full !

Operating system : Linux Debian stable or testing (same problem), full updated.

With Nucleo F411 Gui File system (Dolphin) indicates : Size : 9.6 kbytes 5 files 2 "sous-dossiers" (-> sorry for the french) Mount point : /media/Nucleo Peripherical occupation : 0 bytes free on a total of 16 kbytes (100% used)

For information with L152 I obtain : size 9.6 kbytes 5 files 2 "sous dossiers" Mounting point : /media/Nucleo 512 kbytes free on a total of 528 kbytes (4% used)

I try : http://developer.mbed.org/cookbook/deadmbed It is impossible to delete partition so I use : http://developer.mbed.org/questions/795/mbed-mounts-as-read-only-file-system-on-/

  1. mount -o remount,rw /dev/sdc /media/Nucleo but I have to indicate type system file : what is it ?

Thanks for any solution.

You need to update the interface firmware. https://developer.mbed.org/platforms/ST-Nucleo-F411RE/

Here are directions towards the bottom of that page

Thanks for this rapid answer. I have a look on the links. They only propose exe files. I run Linux, is Windows mandatory to update the firmware ?

As far as I know, yes. To update ST-Link firmware there is only a tool available for windows.
