Is it mandatory to make the hardware open source so as to add it to mbed platforms page?
Hi, I am currently trying to add support for one of the development board from vendor who is new to mbed community. I wanted to know whether we have to make the hardware schematics and other details of the board open source so as to add the same board to mbed platforms?

Having open source hardware is not a requirement to have a platform mbed-enabled. However, your platform's users are likely to appreciate it if you are able to share schematics at the least.
You can find out more about what mbed-enabled means at http://mbed.org/ecosystem/mbed-enabled/.
