Nucleo program takes 10 seconds before starting

I have downloaded the example blinky program for the Nucleo-F401RE board and copied it onto the board, yet the program takes 10 seconds before starting.

I upload a similar program which I created around 6 months ago and that runs straight away...any ideas what I should do?

I have updated the firmware to M10 and updated the mbed library...

I have since recompiled the program for the F103RB and it runs immediately...is there a bug with the mbed library for F401RE

I consider it a bug (really that timeout makes no sense).

Is there any way of changing this? The delay on startup is a real problem for me.
