Is the code compatible with AT93C56A?

I just wanted to ask wheather the code works with AT93C56A too? I am having STMF103RB interfaced to AT93C56A via SPI. I tried to integrate this code with mine, but it seems not to be working. Is there libraries for AT24C64 EEPROMS available in mbed Forum?

AT93C56 is, I think to work. However, this code does not use the SPI.
