Monitor time and send SMS
I am creating a simple project in which i want to send sms to assigned user(in program) that they have class. SMS will be send 1 2 hour before the class. So i am thinking about monitoring time using RTC and sending sms through SIM900. Now both of things come with and without board. which should i use? I am a newbie . Please help me out how should i approch this. Thanks

Maybe try using the SMS backdoors many providers offer. These convert emails into text messages. see article here http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/how-to/4318204
