Well, from the labeling of the pins - it is primarily a 16 bit external memory interface. There is an I2C connection, some bootx pins (not sure) and the control signals for the external memory buss. Not sure what the main processor chip is on this board.

  • A lot of it depends on how you map the pins in the GPIO matrix that most of these chips have.

Hi Gary, thanks, I was thinking about some memory bus, or a way to drive a graphic LCD.

I like the idea of the graphics LCD. 16bit address is only good for 64K [course you could do a bank select, etc] being old-school it could be used as a memory emulator for old-style computers - ELF II , 8051's, Coco's

According to the schematic, both pin 1 and pin 36 are 5v.

Also, looking at the board, it appears the "5v" marking is mean for both of those pins (1 and 36).

Hi Brian, thanks for responding. I did not mean specifically 'pin 36', but the '36 pin' connector, meaning it has 36 pins in total. I wonder what it can be used for.
