LPC1768 with Android application

Hi, I'm new to mbed board, choosing LPC1768 to make some communication between the board and an android mobile. I need to develop an application based on android , but now I have no idea how to communicate these 2 things. Any one can give me some advice or some hints? Plug in USB between board and mobile, and how to make them work? How can an android mobile send instructions to the board?

Hope somebody know about that.

Thanks for ur reply! So, Android accessory should be written inside LPC1768? After that, connections can be made by USB between mobile and LPC1768?
