Register a new mbed to an existing account

Hello,

I ordered some time ago e a few mbed's. I have signed uo one with my account and everything just worked fine. Now I want to start using a second mbed with the same account but it seems the mbed can not register, and will not execute the code I have uploaded to the mbed. Can you tell me how I can register this second mbed ?

I assume the second mbed is the same type? Then you dont have to register it, once per mbed type is sufficient.

It definately should not matter for if it runs code or not. Do take into account you sadly need to install serial drivers for each mbed that you want to use in combination with a serial over USB connection.

Well, the first mbed was one of the prototypes LPC2368. The second one is the LPC1768, and had it's firmware upgraded to the latest version. And for the first testprogram I use no serial over USB. Just I want to blink some led's.like in the HelloWorld example.

Then you do need to register it indeed. It should just be opening the html file that should be on your mbed device, then it will ask you to login on the mbed site, and it will register your mbed. Then in the compiler you should have the option somewhere at the right top (iirc) to choose for which platform it should compile.

You will need to registor the new flavour MBED (3 & 1/2 so far)

but the process is quick & painless.
