mbed library on EFM32
Hi,
I am currently prototyping a project involving GSM/GPS with a u-blox C027. However, since ultra low power consumption is one of the high-priority point of my specifications, I plan to design the final embedded system with an EFM32 microcontroller.
I just wanted to know how hard (in terms of time) it could be to use the mbed library used on the C027 on such an architecture and how I can get started with it ?
Thank you!
Sincerely, Phil.

Back in May I attended a webinar by Energy Micro where they announced that ''mbed would be supported end of this year''. My understanding was that they were planning to release developer boards and implement the mbed libs. The recent announcement of mbed v3.0 includes the logo of Silicon Labs (the new owner of EM). So perhaps you should delay a bit and see what happens. To get started by yourself you need to download the mbed source and port that to your new target.
