Code Red Red Suites 5 support for offline compiler

Hello,

I currently am working in Red Suites NXP 4 and really like it. The MBED library is working great and I can both quickly prototype with an MBED device or build a production board with the same code.

I would love to do this all from the MBED compiler but code completion and at least a little more debugging tools hold me back for using it on any larger projects.

Anyways, I was wondering when support for Red Suites 5 will be available for the offline compiler export. It is really nice to be able to export to the toolchain and have it work out of the box with minimal setup on the IDE side. I am waiting to upgrade util I know it is supported.

Hi Travis, do you mean that "red suite 5" is not able to import a "red suite 4" project?

If that is the case you can ask to "code_red" to add such support to our tools: https://github.com/mbedmicro/mbed/tree/master/workspace_tools/export

I can ask them about that.

I have not tried it because I didn't want to pay money for what might not be supported. In the export option it specifically says "Red Suite 4" and I did not want to assume, spend money and be disappointing.

I asked them and will post the result.
