Bluetooth Low Energy Beacon Modifications
I was reading about the BLE beacon ability and I was wondering if you could load extra data into the payload of the beacon to make it a one way information transfer. I was thinking you could modify the remaining bits count of the payload to include an extra 2 bits and then append some hex value that could be interpreted by a receiver. If you wrote a bluetooth device finder that would look for these extra bits I think it could work. Thanks!
