mbed compiler and standard nrf bluetooth libraries

As the Bluetooth library for the nRF51822 is very new, many services and characteristics are not yet available. I was wondering if there is a way to compile the original Bluetooth libraries using the mbed compiler?

Question relating to:

The nRF51822-mKIT is a low cost ARM mbed enabled development board for Bluetooth® Smart designs with the nRF51822 SoC. The kit gives access to all GPIO pins via pin headers …

Wouldn't it then make more sense to just use Keil or GCC? You'd have to spend a lot of time trying to make that work without getting the benefit of the mbed API...

Could you please explain what you mean by "the original Bluetooth libraries"?
