Please help. I am repeatedly getting the error "The drivers could not be installed"...

please help asap

Sometimes in Windows 8 the System Events Broker service, or the Device Install Service stop or get set to manual. Make sure these services are running before installing the drivers.

Is there a mbed connected to the PC? Which one?

its the frdm kl25z. i am having one more problem also.. under device manager i am not able to see my COM ports. what could be the issue.?

The FRDM-KL25Z needs to be connected to the PC (openSDA USB connector) when you run the mbed serial driver installer.
