How do I add a user to my repository? (Search limitation)

I've created a repository I'd like to share with a colleague. Trying to add his user name here:

Code -> Admin Settings -> Privacy Settings -> Developers

...only yields a list of 15 people with similar sounding names... His user name cannot be found. I've typed his entire user name (only four letters) but it's not in the list of results. Using his email address doesn't work either...

How can I get around this?

The situation here is improved now. Entering a user's exact username will show that user at the top of the drop down list.
