Compiler Startup Problem

/media/uploads/euphonic/mbed_win7.gif I can access the mbed compiler on an old Vista laptop, a new Windows 7 laptop, and an iPad but my Windows 7 desktop machine gives a "no device selected" error. This error started happening 6 days ago. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer and have played with turning on/off cookies butr nothing works. How do a track down this problem?

UPDATE - The Vista laptop no longer works with the compiler. Attached are screen shots of the Windows 7 and Vista. /media/uploads/euphonic/mbed_vista.gif

Can you attach a screenshot of the IDE when this problem occurs?

I have a screen shot of both the Windows 7 and Vista. How do I upload them?

If you edit your question you should see a link above the main content text box that says "Insert images or files" that will allow you to upload the images and insert them into the question.

I have the same issue. The compiler works great on my personal MacBook which doesn't have a lot of security junk on it. On my locked down workplace Win 7 machine (with forced VPN, proxy, etc...), the compiler shows "no device selected" on all browsers: Explorer, Firefox, Chrome. Is anyone actively investigating this?
