has anyone got USB Serial Host working?

Can anyone help, I need to make my MBED a USB Serial Host, and connect to a second USB Serial MBED, at first, but the ability to talk to FTDI serial device would be nice. I have looked through the forums, but apart from someone mentioning problems with FTDI device, there is no code that I can find. if anyone has some working code then please can you share. thanks Ceri.

I too have been looking for something simmilar.

I hope to connect a controller (MBED) to a robot (annother MBED) Using serial USB.

So I can use P.C. or several other controll or response devices.
