can't get teraterm to run , I've added a screen shot of what I get when I try to run it

/media/uploads/ayad3500/screen_shot.rtf

any help please

Please upload just a screen here or use any web service, will be easier that include that in rtf. Anyway, why serial is gray outed there. Check hardware settings, do you see there mbed serial COM? Did you install mbed serial driver?

I checked the hardware manager , I tried to reinstall it but it would not , it tells me that the software download was unsuccessful

But did you download the mbed serial driver? http://mbed.org/handbook/Windows-serial-configuration
