Is the whole MBED dead ?
Hy, unfortunatly I connected pin20 which was used as Output to an extern 5V DC soure and so I made a "short circuit" and the mbed is't working.
The MBED has stopped working and no LED is lighting up now(even the Reset_LED not) . Also my notebook can't recognize it when it is plugged in.
I have measured the voltage and:
GND - VU = 1.9V rectangle (exptected regulary 5V ) GND - Vout = 0.7V rectangle (expected regulary 3.3V )
Also I find out that the FPF2123 (the voltage regulator on the top of the left side and right to Vin) becomes very hot and so this part is up to 1000% damaged. But my question is if somebody knows which part can also be damaged and if the LPC1768 could be still alive ? Thanks for your answers Best Regards and sorry for the bad english

Sounds like the LPC1768 is dead and shortcircuits/overloads the voltage regulators which the get hot and show low voltage. The FPF2123 is actually a current limiter for the USB powersupply. Maybe you got lucky and only one of the 3V3 regulators (and maybe the portdriver for p20) burned out. You can try replacing them.
