HDK Schematic USB Host/Device Confusion.

Hi,

electronics not being my strong point I'm a little confused which part of the Lpc1768 HDK schematic I would need to implement in order to allow a Vodafone usb dongle to be used on my prototype PCB?

Thanks Rob

USB Host is the one you need. The dongle is a USB device.

Should i include 33R resistors feeding into D- & D+ or are the 15K resistors on D- & D+ sufficient?

Well I don't have experience with such things, but only the 15k ones are drawn.

The 33R resistors and filtercapacitors (47p) are also needed. Obviously you also need gnd and 5V power for a USB host socket. Power should in fact be current limited and monitored by the host, but you can do without.

Just to recap from the hdk i should include circuit for a usb device minus the mosfet and include the 15K pull downs from the usb host circuit
