buttons with mbed

hi !

i need to do a link between buttons and N3310LCD display . when button is press , it will show a square box out . if button is pressed for the 2nd time , it will show the 2nd box out . but somehow i can't make it work. can anyone tell me what's wrong ?

for loop is the formula for square box .
