Stange Behavior with FRDM-KL25Z mBed interface
So I've attempted this quite a few times now on Windows and Mac both OS's have about the same result.
First thing that I do is hold down the reset button and insert the USB cable into the SDA USB port The Bootloader mounts perfectly everytime on both Windows and Mac I copy over the "mbed_if_v2.0_frdm_kl25z.s19" file into the bootloader drive Wait some time and then unplug and replug
Upon replug, nothing happens I did notice that if I press and hold reset shortly after the USB is plugged in for about 2 seconds, then the "MBED CMSIS-DAP" interface starts to enumerate. Once that is done if I press and hold the reset button for about 1 sec, the mbed drive loads up Despite the fact that the MSD mounts, I can open it most of the time but when I try to copy a .bin file, it usually crashes and then disconnects. Most of this activity is on the Mac side.
In Windows, the OS cannot find the proper drivers to mount the MSD or CMSIS-DAP.
Also I've tried the windows command line copy thing, no different behavior.
Any thoughts?
Thanks though for the cool development environment, I'm looking forward to trying it out!
Hello Luke Beno,
What windows version do you use?
There are reported similar issues, even though I have not seen any issues with Mac OS, mostly with windows 8.1. Thanks for reporting.
I heard people are working on a solution. Will be shared on mbed once it's done.
Regards,
