Which is the ideal Platform to choose for;
Hi Everyone,
I'm totally new to this whole stuff and i want to buy a mbed in order to execute these operations:
- Control at least 3 stepper motor seperately (can be up to 5)
- Proximity sensor input as InterruptIn
- Networking via any gsm operator over USB Modem (find Vodafone K3773 on the forums and im outside UK but i own vodafone sim btw) and if any idea than buying a usb modem, i think i can buy something like this: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9427 but don't exactly know how to communicate it with mbed yet.
- LCD Display
NOTE: I need to be able to see the system "overall status" & "error alerts" INSTANTLY like a log file or something; that i can observe from my domain (admin section only*user&pass needed for that page). For now, I do not need to send command from PC (or android phone whatever) to Mbed. Although it would be nice to know if i can do that too.
I'm looking for your answers about which mbed platform will handle my requirements to cheapest price, thanks all.
Greetings from Istanbul :)
Hello,
I presume any of the mbed enabled platforms satisfied your needs. What about u-blox, not cheapest one but with a certified module. http://mbed.org/platforms/u-blox-C027/
