FRDM-KL25Z compability with Arduino Shields ?
Hi
The FRDB-KL25Z board share same pinout as the Arduino Shields and have enabled mbed as development tool.
So my question to u out their is, have you any experience using Arduino Shields (that to my knowledge is 5Volt) and FRDM board that is 3.3Volt.
What is the purpose having compatible pinout if voltage level is not compatible ? Anyone had experience already and would like to share some info how you managed ?

Arduino shields are supposed to be 3.3V compatible, there are also 3.3V arduinos.
If that is always true is something else. And it can be a problem that due to diodes they get a bit less than 5V. (They get both 5V and 3.3V from the FRDM board).
