How can I connect more than one sensor to the same serial interface in the mbed nxp lpc1768

Hi Eric, What are the sensors? Are they true RS232 or TTL serial (RS232 without driver chips)?
If they are TTL levels and you can poll them, a simple gate selection solution may be OK RS485 really came to support this type of requirement in industry and I2C, SPI for more local solutions.
So I'm interested in your sensor specs.
Which serial interface?
