how I can connect the mbed to a GPRS modem for sending data?

I can connect the mbed as a GPRS modem for sending data to a mobile phone?

If you have a serial cable for the phone , you can use one of mbed's serial ports and communicate using AT commands . The other way is using a Vodafone K3770 3772 USB stick , as described elsewhere.

Perhaps I didn't understand exactly what you want ... and I can't edit the previous answer . If you want to send the data to another phone , you have to know the other phone address . mbed>serial or USB >serial GPRS modem ,GPRS phone or K3770 > .... GPRS data ...... > another GPRS device with a known ip.
