KL25Z won't upgrade to mbed
The system here is running Windows 7 Ultimate with an Intel Q8300 quad core processor.
The KL25 board will go into BOOTLOADER mode successfully and I can then copy mbed_if_v2.0_frdm_kl25z.s19 to the BOOTLOADER drive.
When I remove and re-insert the USB plug (SDA) the green light comes on but the MBED drive doesn't appear.
I've tried forcing a scan for new hardware in Device Manager and also copying the file from DOS to no avail.
If I go back to BOOTLOADER mode and copy over the MSD-FRDM-KL25Z_Pemicro_v105.SDA file and re-boot, the FRM-KL25Z drive appears. However, if I drag and drop one of the pre-compiled examples from the KL25Z starter pack the LED flashes 7 times repeatedly and the precompiled example doesn't run.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike
Solved: I used the MSD-FRDM-FL25Z_Pemicro_v109.SDA file to restore the board and then followed the Mbed process again and all worked fine.
