Education

Here at mbed HQ we're trying to support educational institutions as best we can. There are a few things we can offer, if there are other ways in which we can help, please feel free to drop us a line at support@mbed.org

Microcontroller Sponsorship

If you are a student (or a member of staff) undertaking some interesting project work or research, you can apply to receive a sponsored microcontroller.

More details about this program can be found at the [[Sponsorship] page.

Additional Licenses

We have been asked frequency how a set of mbed microcontrollers can be used form year to year, class to class given the restriction of one account per microcontroller.

To address this we are now able to secure sponsorship for additional accounts. These can be made available to education establishments.

To apply, simply contact support@mbed.org with the following information:

  • Name
  • Position
  • Establishment
  • Number of physical microcontrollers you have
  • Number of additional accounts you require
  • The titles of the courses/project/research you are undertaking

Demo Session

If you are looking to trial mbed in your establishment, we can provide notes/powerpoint for a trial workshop session to introduce the audience to mbed.
