I am currently using the mbed LPC1768 rather heavily. I have invested a lot of time in learning about it, and I can use it for anything I want. However, in one application I have to invert rather large matrices and there I hit the limits of speed of the processor. The Mbed processor runs at 98 MHz. I have learned about the BeagleBone Black running at 1 GHz. Also much more DRAM and an onboard Flash memory. For only 45$. I do not want to switch any time soon, but is there hope for a faster Mbed with on board storage coming out soon?
