Led status flicker

I'm testing my first mbed, connect to analog input a signal with voltage divider for couple to 5 volts source. Load a little code to mbed, work fine, only one thing; when the led status flicker periodically the level of voltage at input pin erratically change (a few millivolts) and the result from Analog conversion in the program is horrible... that is wrong?
The embed get voltage from USB and External source (5.19 volts) The source for input voltage is a sensor "1124 - Precision Temperature Sensor" from PhIdGets. The analog input have a decouple capacitor (1uF)
