I would like to use my mbed in an embedded project. So would like to use the vin port.

I connected my VIN pin n°2 on an 4,6 VDC and my GND.

But nothing happens...

Just to see if onboard regulator is working try bigger Vin (like 5-6v). If it's working, try measure Vin with mbed conected to see it it's not below 4,5V.

OK I am testing my external power supply but the issue is the same :

When I increase the VIN DC voltage over than 5 (5 - 6), the Vout is about 0.4 V.

How to use the external power supply ?

read that : '5.0v from USB available on VU (only available when USB is connected!)' Can i increase the power over 9 V DC. The datasheet say "4.5v - 14.0v In"

I know where was my issue. I used a GBF !!
