Grounding on a cheap solderless pcb AC/DC

How do you ground a solderless pcb? Also, does using AC or DC matter in this diagram http://mbed.org/projects/cookbook/svn/touchpad/doc/circuit.png

The mbed board itself has plenty of grounding, you don't need to make any special provision for it. You are probably thinking of the grounding requirements when you build a circuit up from individual chips.

You need a DC supply for that project.
