I had a dissapointing experience with a RN-XV wifly module and couldnt get it to work. I thought I'd try this pair of transcievers instead. FT1100A Wireless Digital Transmission Module ISM band 100mW 5/3.3V DIP Interface from ebay. I'd like to send a video signal from a camera mounted on my robot and also use the same radio to send and recieve simple control data. How can this be done ?

I don't know anything about video signals, but at 500 Kbps, I don't think you can send video over this.

Why not try getting the wifly to work with the mbed?

Hi Christian Maybe I'll be able to get away with a very low refresh rate using a black and white cmos camera. But I was interested if anysort of multiplexing might be possible. A control channel should not take up too much bandwidth. I have spent a total time of perhaps 20 hours tring to get the Wifly working. As you suggest 'll have another go
