In the past mbed sent me mails when my question was accepted. It stopped doing that, but kept sending regular mails. Couldn't really care about it. But now when I checked my mail I suddenly thought I really had many friends: 29 new mails in 3 minutes. Including private messages not delivered before. So something is wrong with your mail stuff.

There was an issue preventing email delivery that produced an email backlog. We decided not to delete the backlog before fixing the issue as we didn't want to make a decision as to what might be important or not.

If you're getting emails about things you're not interested in you can find the buttons on the item on the website that will say "Following", if you click that so that it changes to say "Follow" then you won't receive email for that item.

There are also site-wide email settings on https://mbed.org/account/settings/ to change whether and how emails are delivered to you from mbed.org
