Copy paste not working sometimes

Hi, I'm using Safari 5 on Mac OSX to access the mbed Compiler.

I've noticed that when you double click to select a word or triple click to select a line, the cut and copy functions (Cmd-C) does not work properly. Although Cut removes the selected text, pasting keeps on pasting previous content of the paste buffer.

Copy/Cut using click & drag works. Click - Shift-Click is also functional. However, not being able to cut/copy after a double click is quite annoying because you're so used to select a word/line by multiplying mouse clicks and nothing indicates that the operation was not executed completely.
