Coudn't include fat file system library in my project

Hi I am using LPC1768 for my embedded product. Now I need host interface in my hardware. So I purchased a mbed 1786 micro controller. In mbed I am able to use file system library. But i need the file system library in my application. The application being developed in Keil Micro Vision IDE. If I am trying to compile with above library then the compiler showing error like below. Please advise me how to include this FATFileSyatem.lib in my Keil project.

Error ---------------- .\lib\SDK_LPC1765_AMP.axf: error: L6007U: Could not recognize the format of file .\lib\FATFileSystem.lib. ----------------

wouldn't this do better being posted on a Keil user forum?

please let me know the compiler is used for compiling this library. Because in keil support they are saying this library is compiled in different compiler.
